Board meeting set for Sept. 24

In accordance with open meetings law, WCNY provides reasonable notice to the public of its board meetings. The next WCNY Board Meeting will take place at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the broadcast center located at 415 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, N.Y. ‘Wheatless Weekend’ airs Sept. 21 on WCNY

‘Last Tango in Halifax’ begins Sept. 8

British programming on WCNY continues with this new six-part comedy/drama series. It stars Derek Jacobi and Ann Reid as widowers who reunite after 60 years through Facebook. Together, they discover that a first love can sometimes be ageless. As their story unfolds, so do the relationships of their grown daughters and extended families. The series earned two British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards in May 2013.
