Lawmakers worked over the weekend but couldn’t come to an agreement on such issues as Raise the Age and free college tuition.

Today they will receive an extender bill from the Governor to keep state government functioning through May 31st.

This will have a negative impact on schools, according to NYSSBA’s Tim Kremer.

We discussed the school situation and other budget issues with Member of Assembly Crystal Peoples-Stokes (D – Buffalo).
