Robert Perry, NYCLU’s Legislative Director, joined Susan to discuss his concerns over the ethics and reporting disclosure legislation that passed the last day of session but has still not been signed by the Governor.

MFY Legal Services, Inc. has filed a suit claiming the federal government is harming low-income communities by the way it is selling mortgages to private investors. We heard from Elizabeth Lynch, MFY’s Supervising Attorney, about this crucial issue.

Larry Levy, the Executive Dean at Hofstra University’s the National Center for Suburban Studies, weighed in on the shift in the election since the conventions and the growing concern among Republicans that down ballot races could be affected.
