August 30, 2019: Best of: School diversity

There is a lack of diversity in New York’s teaching ranks which is lowering the number of school superintendents of color. An initiative from the New York State Council of School Superintendents is aiming to change that and better respond to the needs of a more diverse student body. Oliver Robinson, Superintendent of the Schenendehowa Central Schools and co-chair of NYSCOSS’ Commission on Diversity and Inclusivity, explained their efforts. (originally aired 8/8/19)
