Sarah Brightman Symphony CD

Over the past two and a half decades Sarah Brightman has established herself as the quintessential crossover artist and is the world's biggest-selling soprano of all time, with worldwide sales of more than 26 million albums and over 2 million DVDs. She was a pioneer in transcending and melding mainstream musical genres, from pop and Broadway showstoppers to operatic and classical arias, and helped pave the way for such singers as Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo and Josh Groban to gain public acceptance for their own crossover efforts.

Symphony is the soprano’s first new studio album since 2003. The album will feature all new songs that define Sarah as the pioneer of the rock-opera genre. Produced by Sarah’s long-time producer Frank Peterson, the songs range from beautiful ballads (“Let It Rain,” “Fleurs Du Mal”), epic power rock scores (“I Will Be With You”) , to Holst’s “Jupiter” from “The Planets” on “Running,” Faith Hill’s “There You’ll Be” sung in Italian as “Sarai Qui” and many more.

Duet partners include Andrea Bocelli on “Canto Della Terra,” Fernando Lima (superstar Mexican tenor) on “Pasion” which is the theme song for a popular telenovella, and Paul Stanley (from Kiss) on “ I Will Be With You (Where The Lost Ones Go), ” that was featured in a popular Japanese Pokemon commercial, and Italian tenor Alessandro Safina on “Sarai Qui.” The album also showcases her linguistic vocal skills as she sings in Spanish, Italian, French and, for the first time, German.

· This studio recording features most of the songs at her concert in Stefansdom Cathedral in Vienna, Austria, along with 2 songs not in the broadcast program.

· The CD is packaged in a luxurious digi-pak with a booklet of stunning, luscious layers of fantastic imagery.

· Hidden Bonus Track : Fleurs Du Mal (Reprise). The song, the second on the track list, repeats after a 1-2 minute delay when the last track ends. This reprise is not on a separate track, and so it is referred to as “hidden.” The song was repeated as a fun treat for fans.
