Anuna, the original vocal group in Riverdance—has bridged the gap between classical and popular music with its pure, haunting, emotional, mystical and unusual sound. Celtic Origins is Anuna’s first concert special and features sixteen Anuna singers, joined by 11 world-class musicians performing an ethereal blend of Irish, British, Middle English, Scots Gaelic, Medieval Irish, Latin and Greek choral music. This unique production was filmed over three nights before capacity crowds at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio. The turn-of-the-century cathedral’s gothic beauty, combined with dramatic lighting, costumes, candles and ritualistic movements, provide an exciting setting for this performance.
