On September 23, 2007, WCNY took a bold step in public broadcasting by ending televised pledge drives, as we become the only PBS station in the country to do so! Why? Because our members told us there must be a better way. You Spoke. We Listened.
But, that does not mean we no longer need your support. Membership is now more important than ever. It still costs thousands of dollars each day to air your favorite television and radio programs. So, pledge now. Then every time you tune into your favorite program … or discover a new one without interruptions … you will know you helped make that possible.
