I’M AN ARTIST Russian-born artist Boris Anisfeld (1879-1973), who gained fame as a stage designer but refused to be pigeonholed as one. Anisfeld brought his colorful "fantast" style to the U.S. in 1917, and influenced many painters via his Metropolitan Opera sets and a 30-year tenure at the Art Institute of Chicago. 18 VOICES SING KOL NIDRE A documentary about the Kol Nidre, the sacred Jewish prayer that begins the holiest day of Yom Kippur, featuring remarks by those who have been touched by it. Sunday, 9/5 @ 6 pm
MUSIC VOYAGER - ROCKY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE Bela Fleck is featured during a visit to Denver, where activities include a banjo master class and a concert. Fleck also discusses his banjo roots and his "Throw Down Your Heart" album and film. Sunday, 9/5 @ 7:30 pm

DRAKENSBERG: BARRIER OF SPEARS The challenges facing the wildlife of Africa's 11,000-ft.-high Drakensberg Mountains are explored. Every spring, rain destroys the grasslands at the base, sending animals up cliffs of volcanic rock in search of the food found on the plateau. Sunday, 9/5 @ 8 pm
