WCNY Appoints New Vice President of Finance and Business Operations

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. – Syracuse native Kevin Domanico has been appointed Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at The Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Central New York, Inc. – WCNY.   Domanico was the Deputy Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer for Catholic Charities of Onondaga County.

In announcing his appointment, Robert J. Daino, president and CEO of WCNY, said that Domanico has joined WCNY to bring financial expertise and strategic support to the business during an exciting period of growth and development.  “His financial experience and credentials are an ideal fit as we continue to evolve the company and establish standards of best practice to meet our expanding responsibilities.  After two years of accelerated growth, Kevin will help lead WCNY to the next level.”

In his new role, Domanico oversees the financial strategy and planning of WCNY and has responsibility for all issues relating to finance and investments.  Domanico, a licensed CPA, earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. Prior to joining WCNY, he spent 14 years with Catholic Charities where he oversaw fiscal operations for the agency and its partners.  Among his many achievements Domanico helped to transform and modernize the agency’s accounting, internal controls and reporting activities.

“My goal is to provide strategic financial planning and processes that will help WCNY to implement its ambitious strategy and build a foundation for continued success,” Domanico said.

Domanico and his wife Anne reside in Liverpool and have two adult children, Ben and Jessica.
