Congratulations to the 2008 WCNY Treehouse Tales Contest Winners

Treehouse TalesThe WCNY Treehouse Tales Young Writers and Illustrators Contest is an annual event for children in Kindergarten through Third Grade (K-3). The contest promotes literacy and creative expression by encouraging children to write and illustrate their own stories.

Thank you to all of the students who entered the 2008 Contest. Participation was high this year with over 350 entries received. The winners for each grade level were recognized at the Treehouse Tales Awards Ceremony held at WCNY Studios on Monday, April 7th. Winner’s stories will be posted online by mid-May.
