The season premiere of WCNY’s “Financial Fitness” airs Thursday, September 25th at 8 p.m. Host J. Daniel Pluff kicks off the program’s 17th year with a special series of reports direct from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. “Never before have we had this type of exclusive access to these Wall Street Experts,” said Pluff. What is Euronext and how will it affect your trades? What will the Exchange look like in five years? Pluff tackles these questions and brings viewers a glimpse of a trader’s day on the floor after the opening bell rings. The new season of “Financial Fitness” will also hit the air waves with fresh improvements, including the addition of Elizabeth Pulverenti on the new Market Update Desk, a new set design and increased opportunities for viewers to interact with the program online through the WCNY Connected “Financial Fitness” Web site. “Financial Fitness” first aired in 1992 and continues to feature regional and national guests, and cover a wide range of financial issues, including: investments, tax planning, real estate, estate planning, as well as various business and political issues. Pluff is a lifelong resident of Central New York and a graduate of the S. I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Upon the completion of executive education courses at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, he received a designation of Investment Consultant and currently serves a variety of clients seeking investment and financial planning. In addition, Pluff has been active on a number of not-for-profit boards throughout the Central New York Community. “Financial Fitness” rebroadcasts on Fridays and Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on WCNY2.
