FUNDRAISER FOR BILL KNOWLTON’S WCNY-FM BLUEGRASS RAMBLE SHOW
Event Hosted by Kellish Hill Farm Will Feature 16 Bands
SYRACUSE, NY, (February 15, 2010) – Kellish Hill Farm in Manlius will host a fundraiser to benefit Bill Knowlton’s WCNY-FM show, Bluegrass Ramble on Saturday, February 27 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Bluegrass Ramble show on WCNY-FM is the oldest running bluegrass and acoustic old time country music show in the Northeast. Bill Knowlton has been the host of the show for 37 years.
Sixteen bands will headline the fundraiser including: John Cadley, Tri County Gospel, Northwater, Andrea and Jason from Atlantic Flyway, Larry Hoyt and the Good Acoustics, Tug Hill Symphony, Bruce Gerow and Al Piatkowski, McCarthy/Paisley Band, Back to Country, Lake Effect, Folkstrings, Blue Lightning, Diamond Someday, Salt Potatoes, Entwyned, and Joanne Perry. Musicians from the bands will emcee this exciting event and donations will be accepted for the Bluegrass Ramble show. A pot luck dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and guests are being asked to bring a dish to pass.
