Markets Showing a Return?

Financial Fitness returns to the air with a review of the markets, which have posted a slight recovery since the lows seen during the first quarter. Stock and mutual funds will be discussed along with an update on how various market sectors are performing.   

Host J. Daniel Pluff will be joined by Matthew Jacob, Sr., Vice president of Solvay Bank in Syracuse, investment advisor Rachel Roney of Michael Roberts Associates, and financial advisor Jonathan Levick of Wachovia Securities in Syracuse.

 

J DANIEL PLUFF

Mr. Pluff is a lifelong resident of Central New York and a graduate of the S. I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Upon the completion of executive education courses at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, he received a designation of Investment Consultant and currently serves a variety of clients seeking investment and financial planning.

In March, 1992, he created Financial Fitness , which continues to air live on WCNY-TV. The show, which features regional and national guests, covers a wide range of financial issues including investments, tax planning, real estate, estate planning as well as various business and political issues.

Mr. Pluff serves as an advisor to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse and is an Investment Committee member for the Franciscan Sisters. He is also an investment advisor to Oneida Healthcare Center and Little Falls Hospital. He is a former Board vice chair, Hospice of Central New York, and is the current Chairman, Board of Directors, for the OnCenter. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for Upstate Medical University Hospital Foundation.
