Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb (R – Canandaigua) shares his concern that the Assembly will pass a “watered-down” ethics packages.

Buffalo CarShare, which has over 900 members who use it’s hourly car rental service, may go out of business because the company cannot get its insurance renewed. Jennifer White, the Communications Director for Buffalo CarShare, explains why tweaks to New York’s insurance policy could keep the company operating in Buffalo.

Under New York election law, the true name of a campaign contributor must be disclosed. But names for LLC contributors are often only street addresses or PO boxes. Blair Horner, the Legislative Director for NYPIRG, explains whether this practice violates the New York election law.

Larry Levy, Hofstra University’s Executive Dean at the National Center for Suburban Studies, joins Susan Arbetter to look at the tradition of the LCA Show.
