Seventy percent of today’s college students graduate with a baccalaureate degree and a little something extra: an average of $29,400 dollars of debt. Over the last ten years student debt has quadrupled, topping $1 trillion. Need help with your debt? Last Friday I spoke with Democratic State Senator George Latimer who at the time didn’t have a Republican challenger. Since that interview, the situation has changed for the freshman incumbent.
