Ashley Hupfl Shares this week’s City & State Winners and Losers.

We look at the news highlights of the week with NY Daily News Albany Bureau Chief Kenneth Lovett and Newsday’s Michael Gormley.

Anne Marie Garti, an attorney and founder of “Stop the Pipeline”, and Roger Downs, the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter’s Conservation Director, explain why advocates are calling on DEC to refuse a water quality certificate for the Constitution Pipeline, which would transport natural gas through New York.

Patricia Pastella, an alumnus of Paul Smith’s College, discusses alumni’s concerns over a controversial name change. Joan Weill and her husband Sanford are donating $20 million in exchange for the name becoming Joan Weill-Paul Smith’s College. Opponents are challenging the change in court.
