Aug. 29, 2014: Ashley Hupfl, reporter roundtable, Adrian Kuzminski

Winners and Losers courtesy of reporter Ashley Hupfl of City and State.

Analysis of the news of the week with Rick Karlin of the Albany Times Union, and Nick Reisman of Time Warner Cable News.

A conversation about the philosophy of political populism with former research scholar in Philosophy at Hartwick college Adrian Kuzminski.

Kuzminski is probably best known for his work as moderator of Sustainable Otsego, a social network of several hundred subscribers founded in the Cooperstown, NY area. What you may not know is that he’s the author of several books including The Ecology of Money: Debt, Growth, and Sustainability (Lexington, 2013) and Fixing the System: A History of Populism, Ancient & Modern (Continuum, 2008). With Zephyr Teachout describing herself as a “progressive populist”, I though a conversation about its evolution would be timely.
