In light of recent attacks, legislators are calling on New York to close the so-called terror gap for the purchase of firearms. Sen. Brad Hoylman (D – Manhattan) will explain legislation he has proposed.

Reclaim New York, advocates for government reform and accountability, are critical of the Regional Economic Development Councils, calling them propaganda and bad policy. We will speak with the group’s executive director Brandon Muir about Reclaim New York’s opposition to the state-funded program.

East Ramapo’s state-appointed monitors Dennis Walcott and Dr. John Sipple of Cornell University will discuss reform recommendations for the district that the three-person panel has proposed.
