Dec. 17, 2015: Dr. Bob Howarth, Ian Vandewalker, one-year anniversary of fracking ban, BOAs

After speaking at COP21 in Paris, Dr. Bob Howarth of Cornell believes the best way to curb climate change quickly is to ban all fracking now. He will share highlights from the conference and his research on methane’s contribution to climate change.

A judge heard arguments on Wednesday over whether to alter New York’s campaign finance law to close the so-called LLC loophole. We will hear from Ian Vandewalker, Counsel with Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice about the case and how New York can reform its ethics regulations in light of the convictions of Dean Skelos and Sheldon Silver.

We will look back at the one-year anniversary of the fracking ban. NRDC Senior Attorney Kate Sinding and Frack Action’s John Armstrong celebrated the DEC and DOH decision to continue the ban of fracking in NY. Original air date: 12/17/14
