Susan spoke with Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D – Yonkers) about her call for Gov. Cuomo to use his political capital to unite the Democrats elected to the Senate.

Legislation for indigent legal defense services passed in both houses but has yet to be sent to the Governor. Jonathan Gradess, executive director of the New York State Defenders Association, joined Susan to explain why several groups are urging the governor to sign the legislation.
