December 4, 2015: Jon Lentz, reporter roundtable, Oswego IDA, Jennifer Lahl

Jon Lentz, an Executive Editor at City & State, looks at this week’s Winners and Losers.

Reporters Ken Lovett, the Albany Bureau Chief for the NY Daily News, and Casey Seiler, the state editor for the Times Union, analyze the news highlights of the week.

We speak with members of Oswego Industrial Development Agency Gary Toth, of the Carpenters Union Local 277, and Nick Canale, a restaurant owner of Canale’s, about what the closure of Fitzpatrick nuclear plant could mean for the region.

Jennifer Lahl, the president of the Center for Bioethics and Culture, speaks with Susan Arbetter about her research on the risks of gestational surrogacy pregnancy. The practice is currently illegal in New York, though the state is reviewing the policy.
