AMERICA WCNY and Hamilton College are partnering to offer fans free preview! Join WCNY and Hamilton College Chapel on Thursday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy a free preview and a special presentation by Rand Scholet, president and founder of the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society (AHA). "Hamilton College is pleased to partner with WCNY to preview the first 30 minutes of Hamilton’s America with our friends and neighbors in Central New York. It is fitting that the college named for Alexander Hamilton should host such an event, and we are honored to do so with our region’s outstanding PBS affiliate," said David Wippman, President, Hamilton College. The college’s three-story chapel, completed in 1827, is thought to be the only remaining structure of its type. Salon performance features one of the finest emerging young chamber ensembles Live@WCNY presents the talented Neave Trio Nov. 3 at WCNY’s Studios. The group will share their musical talents with a performance followed by a meet-and-greet reception with light refreshments. About Neave Trio | The Boston Musical Intelligencer ranked the Neave Trio (Anna Williams, violin; Mikhail Veselov, cello; and Eri Nakamura, piano) among the finest chamber ensembles of their generation. The Trio has been travelling across the country and around the world, not only performing, but also giving master classes, outreach concerts, school clinics, and recording a new CD. Their repertoire spans music from Haydn and Beethoven to Bernstein and Piazzolla.
