Bill Knowlton’s 40^thBluegrass Ramble Picnic is set for Sunday, August 5^thfrom 10am ‘til 6pm once again at Little York, NY, Exit 13 off Interstate Route 81.  17 Bluegrass and Oldtime Bands plus the host band the Delaney Brothers will pick, play, fiddle, and sing under the tent in the oldest bluegrass festival in New York. Cornell University’s Department of Music will present its 5^thAnnual International Chamber Music Festival, Sunday, May 20^th– Wednesday, May 23^rd.  Concerts open in the new Milstein Hall then move to Barnes Hall, where festival special guests cellist Zvi Plesser and violinist Xiao-Dong Wang will add to the celebration of three generations of Cornell pianists:  Malcolm Bilson, Miri Yampolsky, and Andrew Zhou.
