Former Congressman James Walsh joins Susan Arbetter to discuss the recommendations of the citizens group Consensus, which he co-chairs. The group is looking at updating and streamlining Onondaga County government and perhaps merging the county with the City of Syracuse.
Assemblymember Cathy Nolan (D – Ridgewood) will explain the passage of Paid Family Leave legislation in the Assembly.
We will have an update of Long Island teacher Sheri Lederman’s case against the State Education Department over the value added model used in state testing. Lederman’s husband and attorney Bruce Lederman will join us.
Finally, Hofstra University’s Executive Dean at the National Center for Suburban Studies Larry Levy will analyze the results of the Iowa Caucus and what we can expect to see from New Hampshire next week.◄ Back to PodCasts
