Ron Deutsch, the interim executive director of the Fiscal Policy Institute, explained the group’s 2016 priorities, as well a millionaires tax bill that has been proposed in the Assembly.
We analyzed Gov. Cuomo’s budget allocation for breast cancer screening, prevention and care with Julie Hart, the New York State Director of Government Relations for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network.
Sara Niccoli, the executive director of the New York Labor-Religion Coalition, is considering a run as a Democratic candidate in the 46th Senate District, currently held by Republican Sen. George Amedore. She will discuss New Yorkers’ views on corruption and how ethics issues in Albany detract from other priorities like education.
