We will speak with Peter Iwanowicz, the executive director of the Environmental Advocates of New York, about the designation of Hoosick Falls as a superfund site, as well as the group’s budget priorities for 2016.

Today advocates are hosting a symposium to call for more senior housing and programs amidst what they are calling the state’s housing crisis. We will preview the event with Jolie Milstein, president and CEO of New York State Association for Affordable Housing.

Jim Heaney, the editor and executive director at Investigative Post, will analyze the current state of the media industry.

Environmental activist, author, and Scholar in Residence at Ithaca College Dr. Sandra Steingraber will explain the latest arrests at the Crestwood gas storage facility in Seneca Lake, as well as how a gas leak in Porter Ranch California might have parallels to the situation in Watkins Glen.
