July 25, 2018: Michael Tobman on the Yeshiva lawsuit

During budget negotiations, Senator Simcha Felder used his significant role to get a carve out in the state’s educational standards for non-public schools which includes yeshivas. A new lawsuit from Young Advocates for Fair Education is challenging the “Felder Amendment” for granting special privileges to these schools. Michael Tobman, a Brooklyn-based political consultant and spokesman for the Alliance for Yeshiva Education, weighed in on the lawsuit.
