 A crucial part of the state’s urban revitalization is the cleanup of contaminated industrial sites called brownfields. A new report documents of the success of New York’s landmark Brownfield Opportunity Areas (BOA) program in driving redevelopment. We spoke with Val Washington, the president of New Partners for Community Revitalization (NCPR), and Jeff Jones, a consultant for NCPR, about BOA’s success. Original air-date 5/31/16
