June 5, 2019: Voting reform impacts on schools

This session, the State Senate enacted a number of voting reforms including allowing employees to take up to three hours to vote. Bob Lowry, Deputy Director for Advocacy, Research and Communications at New York State Council of School Superintendents, and Marie Wiles, Superintendent of Guilderland Central Schools, explained their concerns about the impact this will have on school professionals including bus drivers and teachers.
