Sen. Liz Krueger (D – Manhattan) joined Susan to discuss maternal depression legislation and other priorities.
We discussed legislation that would require the state to pick up any additional mandate costs with bill sponsor Sen. Joseph Griffo (R – Rome) and Stephen Acquario, the executive director of the New York State Association of Counties. Yesterday, the bill passed the Senate.
Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan spoke with Susan about end-of-session priorities including opioid addiction reform, ethics and NYC mayoral control of schools.
