Tim Kremer, Executive Director of the New York State School Boards Association, joined Susan to discuss receivership, property taxes and lead in drinking water in schools.
Long Island schoolteacher Sheri Lederman sued former SED Commissioner Dr. John King and won. We talked about the case and its implications with Sheri’s husband and attorney, Bruce Lederman.
Sen. Tom O’Mara (R – Big Flats) and Asw. Donna Lupardo (D – Binghamton) are sponsoring a bill to making testing for lead in school water mandatory. Both joined Susan to discuss the issue.
