The new season of the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival kicks off this weekend with “Conversations: Music for Oboe, Flute, and Strings.” Festival Artistic Director, flutist Linda Chesis, and guest artist James Austin Smith, oboe, took some time out of their busy schedules to chat with mid-day host Diane Jones about the concert, the joys of playing chamber music, the many hats worn by artistic directors, and so much more!
