Yesterday afternoon, Gov. Cuomo signed legislation that will expedite the process to allow critically ill patients emergency access to medical marijuana in New York State. We spoke with bill co-sponsor Sen. Joe Griffo (R – Rome).
Philip K. Howard is a legal reform expert, speaker and author of The Rule of Nobody. He joined Susan to preview today’s Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York’s Annual Conference “New Legislative Leadership, New Opportunities.”
Saima Anjam of the EPL/Environmental Advocates discussed an environmental scorecard for legislators.
Finally, we heard about the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region’s “Brava” event, a benefit to collect bras for women in the Y around the Capital District. Marion Roach Smith, the event’s creator, and Malissa Pilette-McClenon, the YWCA-GCR’s Director of Development and Marketing, will be here.
