Nov. 18, 2013: Steve Greenberg, postpartum depression, Richard Brodsky
November 18, 2013
Siena asked voters about Governor Andrew Cuomo’s possible opponents in the next election as well as how people feel about the Common Core. Pollster Steve Greenberg shares results as well as his analysis.
Cynthia Wachenheim was her high school’s valedictorian, “a perpetual volunteer” and a lawyer in Manhattan. But after her child was born she jumped eight stories to her death. In response, the Senate and the Assembly passed legislation defining maternal depression and requiring education and screening. The legislation is awaiting the Governor’s signature. We will be joined by Sonia Murdock of the Postpartum Resource Center and members of the Wachenheim family to discuss the legislation.
DEMOS and Wagner School Fellow Richard Brodsky weighs in on the importance of 3rd parties, the Siena Poll and the Common Core.◄ Back to PodCasts
