Nov. 18, 2015: Leader Kolb, medical marijuana, Rockefeller College, Bruce Gyory


Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb (R – Canandaigua) weighed in on the controversies over welcoming Syrian refugees to the U.S. and the AG’s cease and desist letter for FanDuel and DraftKings.

We looked at New York’s first medical marijuana harvest, which was grown in Fulton County, with Dr. Kyle Kingsley, CEO of Vireo Health.

Two experts from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy analyzed the Paris attacks and the security measures and safety in New York. R. Karl Rethemeyer is the interim Dean of the college, as well as an Associate Professor of Public Administration and Policy. Victor Asal is the Chair of Public Administration and Policy and an associate professor of political science.

Finally, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips’ Bruce Gyory discussed how recent initiatives by Attorney General Schneiderman and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli have affected their tenure.
