Pandemic powers shift to lawmakers, but how will they use them?

Apr. 1, 2021 – In early March, the Governor signed legislation that curtailed the emergency powers he was given at the beginning of the pandemic. Now, the state legislature will have an expanded role in the state’s pandemic response by reviewing any new directives or those up for renewal. Sen.
