Public invited to take a lunch break with WCNY-FM’s July 16 ‘Live at Noon’ performance featuring “Bach to Rock”

On July 16, WCNY-FM welcomes a live audience to a “Live at Noon” broadcast from its Broadcast and Education Center, located at 415 W. Fayette St., in Syracuse.

Conductor Richard Auldon Clark and members of the Manhattan String Orchestra feature “Bach to Rock” and “Electric Violins IV.” The live program includes Bach compositions, and other selections in the styles of pop, folk, jazz and salsa.

Bill Baker’s “Live at Noon” is a live music and interview series that’s aired on WCNY-FM since 2003. The show has featured, local, regional, national and international classical music performers, who join Baker in-studio for brief performances and conversations.

The “Live at Noon” performance is free and open to the public. No R.S.V.P. is required to attend. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. To learn more about WCNY-FM, visit www.wcny.org/radio.
