Toby Shelley is challenging Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney on this November’s ballot. Earlier this month, he won the Conservative primary against Oscar Peterson, which means he will run as a Democratic, Reform and Conservative candidate.
This week, former gubernatorial candidate John Faso announced a run for Congress in the 19th Congressional District, which is currently held by Rep. Chris Gibson. Gibson has announced he will not run for another term in 2016.
