Sept. 24: Central New York Sheriffs, health exchanges, Bruce Gyory
September 24, 2013
Cayuga County Sheriff Dave Gould and Oswego County Sheriff Reuel “Moe” Todd are each saying “no thank you” to aspects of the NY Safe Act. Sheriff Todd believes the law to be unconstitutional. Sheriff Gould says he won’t release the names of people who have pistol permits. The two friends and colleagues will join us to explain their positions.
NY’s health exchanges will open for business on October 1st. While they could create opportunities for working people who have not had health insurance before, getting signed up is key. We will be joined by Citizen Action’s Policy Director Bob Cohen and the researcher/organizer for the Healthcare Coordinating Council of the Communications Workers of America Bill Nowak.
Corning Place Political Strategist and UAlbany Adjunct Professor of Political Science Bruce Gyory will share his thoughts on the future of the Republican Party.◄ Back to PodCasts
