 GET CONNECTED!

Besides getting a “behind-the-scenes” look at how a television and radio station operates, there are many other ways to volunteer and get connected.

• Work first hand on the lively set of Food for Thought or one of our important Central New York documentaries.
  
  
• Help coordinate one of our many exciting concerts, community fundraisers or television productions!
  
  
• Experience the personal rewards of using your voice to assist visually-impaired individuals through our Read-Out program.
  
  
• Join the more than 1,000 volunteers who help WCNY broadcast our televised auctions, TelAuc and Travel Auc
  
  
• Try lending your administrative skills to a variety of office projects: data entry, bulk mailings, collating and sorting, etc.
  
  

  Whatever your skills, WCNY is seeking individuals, community and civic groups and specialty clubs to volunteer their time to maintain the excellence and foster the excitement at WCNY.  It’s a great way to show your support of such an important cultural, educational and inspirational resource to the community.

The “WCNY Volunteer of the Quarter” is nominated by both volunteers and staff for outstanding dedication and commitment. The honoree is recognized in CNY Connected Magazine, our bi-monthly magazine, on a plaque in our lobby, and on the FM air waves. This special volunteer also receives a dedicated parking space for the quarter, a $50 gift card and a DVD or CD from our premium room!
