Classic FM Fundraiser Nov. 18 & 19

WCNY will host its Classic FM fundraiser on Nov. 18 & 19 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The two-day event will feature special programming, gifts, and voices typically only heard behind the scenes at WCNY. This annual event is critically important to WCNY’s ability to offer new programs and crystal-clear classics on our FM station and livestream. Friends of WCNY can make donations online at wcny.org/supportclassical or by calling 800-451-9269, now through Nov. 19. Nov. 6, 2025: Modigliani Quartet at SFCM

  Amaury Coeytaux, violinist of the Modigliani Quartet, spoke to host Diane Jones about this weekend’s concert with the Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music.  He told us how the quartet formed and chose it’s name, spoke about the concert, and the quartet’s current project to record all of the Beethoven String Quartets.     More from the Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music is available here.
