Central Current Radio – Preventing Lead Poisoning in Our Children!

Syracuse has suffered from consistently high levels of lead exposure in children, a critical issue that severely impacts childhood development and endangers those young lives. In this edition of Central Current Radio, host Rick Wright talks with J.B. McCampbell, Chief Communications Officer for 100 Black Men of Syracuse; and Kiara Van Brackle, a clinical neuroscientist studying medical sociology at Syracuse University. They talk about the causes and effects of lead exposure and lead poisoning, and a free lead testing event that will be held in Syracuse on Saturday, April 27.
