Cycle of Health Returns May 23 with Season 17

WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, will premiere season 17 of its television series, “Cycle of Health” on Thursday, May 23 at 8:30 p.m. on WCNY-TV. In the new season, host Dr. Richard O’Neill will lead engaging discussions with Central New York’s foremost medical experts. Explore the latest research and get a glimpse into the exciting future of medicine.

In the season premiere, we’ll delve into the challenges of nicotine dependency and the support provided by programs like MINDOnline at Upstate University for quitting this addictive substance. Additionally, we’ll explore the initiatives led by local teens to combat the increasing use of nicotine in their generation.

The eight-part television series will air on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. through mid-July on WCNY-TV. The series is sponsored by St. Joseph’s Health, Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI), Eye Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons of CNY, Guthrie, Kinney Drugs, and Nascentia Health.
