Lawmakers approve ‘lock box’ for future opioid settlement funds

June 11, 2021 – Legislation that made its way through the Capitol ensures that future settlement money from litigation with opioid manufacturers and distributors will pay for substance abuse prevention and treatment, according to Ashley Livingston, co-chair of Friends of Recovery Warren Washington Counties.
