Guest conductor Jaman Dunn-Danger is leading the Syracuse Orchestra and SU Oratorio Society tonight in a performance of a rarely-heard work, R. Nathaniel Dett’s “The Ordering of Moses.” We spoke about the piece, the orchestra, and about the joys of hearing lesser-known works in live performances.
