“I love ensemble work.  I love making pieces and building things together.”  – Uzo Aduba

In performance, of course, ensembles face the audience.  But in rehearsal, the performers will sometimes sit in a circle, playing toward one another.  That brings an intimacy and connectedness that brings the music to a whole new level.  This week, all female ensembles circle round to play music that crosses the centuries.
