WCNY, Sustainable Upstate Network to host Green Business & A Sustainable Future June 21

WCNY, Central New York’s public broadcaster, and Sustainable Upstate Network (SUN), present Green Business & A Sustainable Future from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 21 in WCNY’s Broadcast and Education Center, a LEED Platinum certified building, located at 415 W. Fayette St. in Syracuse.

The event brings together key leaders moving the need on sustainable options and solutions across the region. The panel discussion, “The Ultimate In-Person Guide” will give attendees direct access to best practices, innovative ideas, strategies, and how to overcome hurdles. Attendees will also learn about upcoming renewable and green projects impacting our community.

SUN will present an award to Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses, named the 2018 Sustainable Organization of the Year.

The event also features local food, wine and beer samples, networking, giveaways and more.
