WCNY to host Enterprise America Homeschool Day, Oct. 29

WCNY invites homeschooled students ages 9-14 to participate in Enterprise America Homeschool Day at WCNY.

WCNY’s Enterprise America (EA) program is an experiential learning program featuring lessons in entrepreneurship, business, and finance. Students operate WCNY’s  21st century Enterprise America model city. Students become entrepreneurs and employees, consumers and citizens participating in the real game of life.

Designed for middle-school-age students, EA introduces students to the business world and provides them with the opportunity to practice key 21st skills including problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and communication. Students also apply STEM and financial and civic literacy knowledge as they become masters of 15 different enterprises in the Enterprise America city, housed in WCNY’s 10,000-square-foot Education Center. No special preparation required.
