WCNY to Host Harriet Tubman Event in Partnership with the Seward House Museum

WCNY, Central New York’s community-owned public broadcaster, in partnership with the Seward House Museum, will host the “Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom” screening and discussion event on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carriage House Theater in Auburn, NY. The event will explore the inspiring woman who repeatedly risked her own life and freedom to liberate others from slavery. (#3, 10/15/22) Welcome to Episode 3 of the CNY Latino Podcast. This project is a venture that the small Hispanic Media company CNY Latino tried to start in 2020. Several issues (funds, personnel, COVID, etc.) delayed its start, but in the middle of 2022, an invitation from WCNY motivated Hugo Acosta, the founder and president of CNY Latino, to launch this podcast.
