Built to Serve – Hillside

It’s well established that poverty, trauma, and neglect create deep-seated behavioral and mental health issues in people of any age. It’s an especially acute problem for children. Hillside was founded 186 years ago. It’s one of the oldest continuously operating nonprofits in the U.S. Last year alone, Hillside worked with nearly 9,000 children, adults and families in New York State and Maryland to help those at-risk.
